No1 Can Steal Your Salvation

One argument that people tend to make regarding salvation or “being saved” is whether or not you can lose it or not. Paul said in Colossians 1:21-23: “If indeed you continue in the faith” means it is possible you might not continue in faith. In other words, there is eternal security in Christ as long as you stay in Christ. No one can steal your salvation or force you into losing your salvation. God will not let you go. However, I believe the word teaches us that it is possible for a Christians to forfeit or give up his salvation.

As I stated earlier, an individual gets saved by receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord by faith…In other words confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart. Jesus was, and is, a gift from God to the world. Therefore, salvation is a gift. There is only one way to obtain a gift, and that is to receive it. You can’t buy it, you cannot earn it, and there is nothing you can do to become worthy of it. The moment you buy something, earn it, or work hard enough to receive it, it ceases to be a gift. It, rather, becomes a reward for works-or it is earned, such as a salary, which is compensation for work done.
If you did not earn your salvation by doing works, then you cannot lose it by works. Somehow we seem to believe that the Blood of Jesus is powerful enough to save us, but not powerful enough to keep us.

He died for you…why would he let you go?

What do you think?

In the end, when it's all said and done and every knee has bowed to Jesus Christ, I believe everyone will understand the truth you've stated.

No one is capable of stealing your Salvation, except you yourself.

Perfect reminder, Champ. Thanks for sharing.

I totally agree...175,000%!! LOL. He judges your heart and if at some point you 'chose' to walk away...or in other words "forfeit" your salvation, then HE will not force you. Continue to walk righteous and be faithful. No HE wont leave us..but by us leaving HIM...can and will forfeit our salvation..my opinion.
