OR MAYBE YOU CAN JUST BEAT THE ODDS!

"I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me"
Philippians 4:13
Disenchantment comes from the realization that the world isn’t what you perceived it to be! People lie, cheat, and steal and get away with it. Murders become COLD CASES! Marriages end in divorce…while mothers and fathers become Baby Mamas & Baby Daddies.
There are people who only deal with you because they think it might be beneficial to them…(Alcohol, Weed, Money, & Sex).
We are raised in this fairy tale world, where there aren’t any moral grey areas, where good and bad are clear, where there was never any real doubt over which side would win in the end! (Good of course)…but each horrifying death reported in the paper... made you a little more cynical: a little deader inside.
Maybe this sense of disenchantment came from not a flawed society, but a rather growing realization that we ourselves are flawed? Nothing’s more depressing than realizing that you can’t live up to your own hopes, that you’ll never live out your dreams, that you probably let those you care about down every day!
DAMN THAT’S A HARSH REALITY!
OR MAYBE YOU CAN JUST BEAT THE ODDS!
YOU DECIDE

That bible quote at the end of your blog is my response to this blog. The other night I went to bed, feeling distraught, and God said this to me in my dreams...check this out; http://daij62.blogspot.com/2011/06/direct-message.html
@Daij....I feel you bruh..it's thru the worst of times that we can still draw strenght and I know that only God and make u feel that way.
We are who we become...We are what we surround ourselves with and expect of others...We need to stop using exuses of the world to bring us down. It is OUR choice to be happy and productive with this God-given time...
That bible quote helped me back from the hell on earth I was living in...In gave me the strength I needed to get where I needed to be in life...Bring meaning to my life...Serve my purpose...
@Jstar....I couldn't agree wit u more :)...it's def our responsibility...time waits 4 no1 and b4 u know it you've lived a meanless life #teamgetit2gether
Yes Champ, society is flawed, a reflection of our lack of understanding of our own Divinity (we are made in God's Divine image) . . . We cannot transform society, but we can transform ourselves (taking personal responsibility), lifting the veils and discovering our true nature, our unity with the Creator . . . As we transform ourselves, our transformed vibration will influence those we interact with and the places we go . . . God bless you!
@Snake well said :)
nice blog. interestin views
@peaches27 Thanks :)
You say we ourselves are flawed?
Yes you're probably right! But don't we get a pass because as humans we are flawed, filthy rags saved by grace and always striving for the impossible task of perfection? Perfect as our creator made us, as humans if we don't believe or respect that then yes we are destined to live in the midst of disenchantment lives.

@Meagan....being saved by grace just means 2 me that our souls will be saved, but we still have free will that God gave us, and with that being said we can actually have a big impact on whether we live a meaningful or meaningless life
Hey!!!! Did you cut your hair?? lol Well it is the sign of the times. People are into the "right now feel good". We have gotten sooooo far from HIM that nothing matters other than survival! My friend just bought me some beautiful earings and a bracelet with that scripture on it!
Nice food for thought. This posts shows us clearly what we have become. It didn't use to be that way.
Yeah I did lol...I couldn't agree wit you more
Sometimes this world we live in is a cold hard unrelenting place.
@Reggie....I couldn't agree wit you more
Yea, the focus has to be on beating the odds. Pushing regardless of what the fears might be. Remembering and living like "you can do all things through Christ..." Good post!
