See all the smiling faces... I'm good (bottom left)
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if people didn’t have the need to be happy? I mean I get that depression (unhappiness) has a host of ‘ish associated with it, but what I’m talking about here is more of Ahappiness which I just made up I might add… is the ability to not need happiness at all! Happiness is this fuel that we need to function in society, but it doesn’t last forever, and we look for more once it’s all gone. Who says that we can’t be Ahappy and be okay? Happiness is like food, only it’s drained from us every time we have some BS to do! Also you can’t buy happiness at a Supermarket. I’m sorry Savealot, you just can’t. I’m mean happiness would still exist there just wouldn’t be a need for it. If we all removed all desire to be happy from our psyche our expectations for happiness would no longer be rewarded with the disappointments of life. Instead Happiness would just be an incentive instead of an emotion.

So true...Our upsets and mishaps teach us...If we learn from them not to make the same mistake then we can avoid it next time around...Well some of us anyway...Happiness comes from within, its not something that anyone else has control over but you...You can chose to be happy in the midst of chaos or you can chose to be stressed and depressed...Sometimes people are just un happy just because, nothing wrong, no chaos...Happiness is an inner choice...
good point here @ If we all removed all desire to be happy from our psyche our expectations for happiness would no longer be rewarded with the disappointments of life.
for it does enter into one's mind...
there is definitely some truth to your statement. for example, i look back and realize how the time where i shouldn't have been happy or felt i wasn't happy was the time where i was happy the most, and vice verse.
4 jstar and Don. Sometimes in life we often associate happiness wit success and that's why alot of times we consider ourselves unhappy. If your healthy, have beautiful kids, and a life long partner who says that isn't enough to be okay. We want all or nothing, but we are never just thankful. Remember Jesus the carpenter he seemed to be pretty okay to me.
