I Love That .....

I love that you can fall in love with the same person more than once.

I love that making love is more mental than physical.

I love that people can change.

I love that we can create our own peace.

I love that we can learn from our mistakes.

I love that we can be healed through forgiveness.

I love we can procreate a mini me.

I love that our kids admire us no matter what our circumstances are

as long as we are in there life.

I love that we can meet that special some1.

I love that we can’t just fall in love with anybody.

I love that we persevere.

I love that we can always do something different.

I love that a smile goes a long way.

I love that we speak things into existence.

I love that unconditional love does exist.

I love that we mature.

I love that the weather changes

I love that if we give it to God we can do all things

I love that I’m not a finished product

No1 Can Steal Your Salvation

One argument that people tend to make regarding salvation or “being saved” is whether or not you can lose it or not. Paul said in Colossians 1:21-23: “If indeed you continue in the faith” means it is possible you might not continue in faith. In other words, there is eternal security in Christ as long as you stay in Christ. No one can steal your salvation or force you into losing your salvation. God will not let you go. However, I believe the word teaches us that it is possible for a Christians to forfeit or give up his salvation.

As I stated earlier, an individual gets saved by receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord by faith…In other words confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart. Jesus was, and is, a gift from God to the world. Therefore, salvation is a gift. There is only one way to obtain a gift, and that is to receive it. You can’t buy it, you cannot earn it, and there is nothing you can do to become worthy of it. The moment you buy something, earn it, or work hard enough to receive it, it ceases to be a gift. It, rather, becomes a reward for works-or it is earned, such as a salary, which is compensation for work done.
If you did not earn your salvation by doing works, then you cannot lose it by works. Somehow we seem to believe that the Blood of Jesus is powerful enough to save us, but not powerful enough to keep us.

He died for you…why would he let you go?

What do you think?

Mother's Empty Chair

Just wanted 2 share this story....ENJOY!

A woman’s daughter had asked the local minister to come and pray with her mother. When the minister arrived, he found the woman lying in bed with her head propped up on two pillows. An empty chair sat beside her bed. The minister assumed that the woman had been informed of his visit.”I guess you were expecting me, he said.’ No, who are you?” said the mother. The minister told her his name and then remarked, “I saw the empty chair and I figured you knew I was going to show up.”
“Oh yeah, the chair,” said the bedridden woman. “Would you mind closing the door?” Puzzled, the minster shut the door.”I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter,” said the woman.”But all of my life I have never known how to pray. At church I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer, but it went right over my head.” I abandoned any attempt at prayer,” the woman continued,” until one day four years ago; my best friend said to me, “Betty, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus. Here is what I suggest. “Sit down in the chair; place an empty chair in front of you, and in faith see Jesus on chair. It’s not spooky because he promised, ‘I will be with you always’. “Then just speak to him in the same way you’re doing with me right now.” So, I tried it and I’ve liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day.  I’m careful though. If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she’d either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the funny farm.” The minister was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the woman to continue on the journey. Then he prayed with her, anointed her with oil, and returned to the church. Two nights later the daughter called to tell the minister that her mother had died that afternoon. Did she die in peace?” he asked. Yes, when I left the house about two o’clock, she called me over to her bedside, told me she loved me and kissed me on the cheek. When I got back from the store and hour later, I found her. But there was something strange about her death. Apparently, just before Mother died, she leaned over and rested her head on the chair beside the bed. What do you make of that?” The minister wiped a tear from his eye and said, “ I wish we could all go like that.”
Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive.

I asked God for water, He gave me an ocean.

I asked God for a friend, He gave me all of you…

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Happy moments, praise God.

Difficult moments, seek God.

Quiet moments, worship God.

Painful moments, trust God.

Every moment, thank God.

Doin U: At Who’s Expense?

“Doin U” is living your life for you: not a means to an end for others!
This means that I should exist for my own sake, neither sacrificing myself to others, nor sacrificing others to myself! The pursuit of my own rational self-interest, and happiness, is the highest moral purpose of my life!
If I must deal with others,

It should be as Traders, in a pure capitalist system.

No charity! No sympathy! Just business,

an exchange of value for value.

Or in dating terms “Friends With Benefits”!

But where does love fit into this system?

See if everything is viewed as a business arrangement between

Traders without charity, then how can you have love?

Love is supposed to be selfless.

Or is this that New School LOVE?

Where LOVE is selfish. …

If you see someone of value,

and they see value in you…..you

want access to this value, so you

arrange a business transaction.

Love used to be worth the risk smh

Now people are turning into Modern day Hoes

Harsh Reality

Disenchantment comes from the realization that the world isn’t what you perceived it to be! People lie, cheat, and steal and get away with it. Murders become COLD CASES! Marriages end in divorce…while mothers and fathers become Baby Mamas & Baby Daddies.
There are people who only deal with you because they think it might be beneficial to them…(Alcohol, Weed, Money, & Sex).
We are raised in this fairy tale world, where there aren’t any moral grey areas, where good and bad are clear, where there was never any real doubt over which side would win in the end! (Good of course)…but each horrifying death reported in the paper... made you a little more cynical: a little deader inside.
Maybe this sense of disenchantment came from not a flawed society, but a rather growing realization that we ourselves are flawed? Nothing’s more depressing than realizing that you can’t live up to your own hopes, that you’ll never live out your dreams, that you probably let those you care about down every day!
DAMN THAT’S A HARSH REALITY!

OR MAYBE YOU CAN JUST BEAT THE ODDS!

YOU DECIDE

"I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me"

Is There Enough Room In Your Marriage For Another

This whole “Marriage” subject

has gotten me thinking

about monogamy.

…..Not whether or not I can or have

been monogamous, because that’s a

non issue (not to mention I love my fiancé and value my life as well)

My concern is that people have totally pushed morals to the side.

In the past sharing yourself with more than 1 person was frowned upon….

Not to mention catching sh*t penicillin can’t cure lls and the pain it cost your partner

isn’t quite worth the risk.

The Morals of Marriage have gone by the waist side for what people consider to be “Happiness

I did some research!

I found a book called “The Ethical Slut

This book discusses how to live an active

Life with multiple concurrent sexual relationships

in a fair and honest way. Discussion topics include

how to deal with the practical difficulties and opportunities in finding and keeping partners, maintaining

relationships with others, and strategies for personal growth.

To me this makes a slut sound ethical duh smh… which I’m not here to judge…just stating what I’ve interpreted and to me that makes no sense….It implies that you can love someone, want him or her to be happy…but that shouldn’t change by having sex with additional people.

May be this makes sense to others,

but not to me….

When I was younger I probably would have thought it was possible..

but giving yourself to one is the ultimate commitment if you ask me.

The book also posits that an artificial ‘economy of scarcity’ in sex leads to jealousy and possessiveness.

This is pretty much saying that

because sex is ‘rare’ it has and increased value, and is therefore

treasured unreasonably? It’s not anti-monogamy, but it’s pro-polygamy.

Don’t you find that these things don’t usually work

in real life? I know I want my partner

To be happy, but I also want all of her hugs and kisses to myself?

What do you think?

Who's In Control

I’ve been

thinking….

If my decisions

are based on my

desires, and my

desires are just

the product of

genetics and

environmental factors

beyond my control,

then I have no

control over the decisions that I make! Right!

See, If I am a product of my environment or

genetically predisposed, then each actions

I take….. could not have been taken any other way.

Meaning I had No Choice!

Like sleeping with any chick that I know isn’t going benefit me to say the least (UGLY) or (Dysfunctional)  smh

I could say that "Poppa Was A Rolling Stone" and that it’s in me to knock her down…or

all the men in my family are "Alcoholics" so there’s really no avoiding it.

I would also be implying that Free Will doesn’t exist.

Wouldn’t that be convenient?

This Theory fails to account

the fact that we

obviously can make decisions,

and that we do so constantly

on a regular basis…not to mention that

#SlaveryIsOver .

Can you tell me that you

Think that your brain is

Nothing more than a

Complicated computer with

Delusions of

Grandeur?

If you think Yes

than you

are probably

DRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let’s stop with the #ResponsibilityDeflection

and take back control over our Lives.

Polluted Wisdom

What Are You Listening To?

What Company Are You Keeping?

Luke 8:18 (New King James Version)

18. “Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”

What you have in this life is tied to what you hear on a daily basis and what you hear affects your faith. This is why Jesus goes on to tell His disciples that whoever has, more will be given and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him. If you don’t use your faith, which is a product of what you hear, then you will not be able to obtain or protect the things of this life. That goes the same with who you keep in your presence on a daily basis affects to some degree affect what you believe. …because people around you can have an influence on your thoughts.
People today love not knowing cause Ignorance is #bliss…. And people take pride in not knowing..Listen to the music of today which goes completely against God’s word or gives out false representations of what God’s Word is. You got albums with Love making hits on it and on that same album have the nerve to include gospel songs smh. #MentalGames their playing and the shame is the crime is undetectable by the Feds
Cuz in the head of our kids is where the track is

And the music shoots str8ght to the soul it’s so potent

So much more addictive than crack…now the high is just an illusion

Lies and confusion…but just for that rush the young bucks will listen to it

So in essence… their still flooding these streets with drugs and killing

Their just using record labels to do them.

See America makes you an opportunist..

Then at the same time institutionalize you..

So the fact that you see people getting these fat record deals, big money, then go to jail

Shouldn’t surprise you..

That’s what lies do

and most of these guys have raw talent..just infantile education

So the business feed them
All the weed, ecstasy,
And the little bit of paper to provide
Some pacification from all the bullsh*t
Frustration they serve you

See they took all of our business men and made the drug dealers….

Took all of our messengers and made the rappers ..just flapping their gums afraid to admit their treason.

Took all of our soldiers and made the killer for no reason …

And being f cked up…that’s in this season

So if you’re negative you positive and if you’re positive you’re called a #hater….

That’s why I maintain control over my soul…because I know it get greater later….

And I can do all through God my creator…

That’s why Jesus lets us know by acting on faith, that you will be able to receive and keep all that the Lord has for you. So, If you “do not have”, then you need to check up on what you have been hearing, and consequently believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth.

Getting Into Character: What's Yours

In life we all have a purpose….we all have a fundamental reason we exist.

That’s simply means

that we all have some affect over your life and our own.

We are MothersFathers….Sisters….BrothersBest friends….Confidants

employersemployees…and even if you are unemployed, drug addicted and homeless

Your Lives Are Not In Vain!

More Importantly we are  Men/Women 1st
Some of us grasp our purpose early on, while the rest of us go through a multitude of trials and tribulations to finally figure it out.
Others die trying ….not realizing that your purpose really isn’t that hard to find.

I know that I am guilty of making life harder than it really is….I’ve over analyzed the littlest things,
complicating things that may make one question life itself…..but in the end I found out that
I am faith, trust, hope! I am the profound belief in a power larger and more important than us. I am truth and beauty! I am love and humility!  If you notice faith, trust, hope! I am the profound belief in a power larger and more important than us is the definition of Religion… That’s all we are people… Believe in something  …..You have a better chance at cracking this thing called Life.

Say What You Mean and Mean What You Say (God's Word)

Miranda Rights:

2. Anything you say will be held against you in a court of law.

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)

21. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it’s fruit.

Medical science has proven that you are what you eat. So, if you eat rotten apples, what are you going to be? Sick!

The same thing is true with the words you speak. Even just one spoken word can change your life for the better or worse.

You choose for the better or for worse with the words that you speak.

Have you ever talked your way into trouble? Or spoke something negative into in existence?

This is why we must say what the Word of God says. That is what we should be speaking. God’s Word has a solution to every challenge we can face in this lifetime. So we must speak the SOLUTION!

SHOUTOUT THURSDAY: BLOGGERS UNITED

Today's Shoutout is 2 Bubbly Blackgirl
Check Out Getting Over It

The answers to life inquiries manifests itself in the most unexpected forms. While we can surely seek them out, they’re better received when they reveal themselves, naturally.

Everything we go through in life is a part of a larger journey, that requires us to endure certain parts so that we may grow into better beings. Before we walked we first crawled. We could not ride a bike, without first learning with training wheels, and a helmet, and kneepads.

Such is the same for relationships. No one wakes up one day Married, and or magically with the “Man of their Dreams”. Nor do they abruptly go from a break up to quickly being “Over It!” Hopefully, in due time they will get to that point, where they’ve successfully and happily moved on, but such is not a process that can happen overnight.

I’ve attempted to just cut things off with the Ex. To go cold turkey, and not take his calls or just simply not see him. Besides, everyone has told me to just cut him off completely. I’d heard their stories about how they’d gotten over and moved on from their Infamous Ex(es). The recurring theme had been that one day they had just had enough, and voila they were soon on to the next.

But no one tells of the days before, of cried tears and pathetic wishes on shooting stars. No one utters the longings felt for loves now past. No one tells of the journey that led up to that moment of “Enough. I’m over it.”

Sometime ago, the most random person gave me the best advice about how to deal with the awkward relationship I now have with my Ex. Her words, encouraged me to let things play out between us as they are. Wait, before you holler STUPID, from the tips of your tongue, here’s why.

She confirmed that I would get to that point where I’m fed up or just tired of the back and forth, but the abrupt cut off, only inspires more of the merry-go-round. Instead, she recommended that I let this “quasi” relationship, run its course. The course would get me to that breaking point. And that’s when it will be over.

Surprisingly (or not), I can’t help but to agree with her.

So, instead of fighting the wave, I went along with it. I enjoyed the beautiful moments we shared, such as quiet walks or weekend breakfasts. Even the nights spent together. Instead of fighting in my head, “Where’s this going?” “Why doesn’t he want me back?” I just relaxed and enjoyed it all.

Shortly after, my moment came. Followed by the point where I just couldn’t do it anymore, and the feeling of another tear rolling down my cheek angered me. The thought of telling another, “I HATE MY EX Story”, though, made me laugh. It got to the point where I could no longer be mad at him, but instead at myself for enabling him…Yep, that was the icing of my moment and the motivation I needed to strengthen myself to getting over it.

SHOUTOUT THURSDAY: BLOGGERS UNITED

2day is the first of my Thursday SHOUTOUTS
brought 2 you by way of BLOGGERSUNITED

Jasmine is a very insightful writer who offers you creative writing that's funny, intellectual, and very thought provoking. She is very versatile. Her is 1 of her post that I found interesting.

The Thrill Of The Chase http://eyekandee05.wordpress.com/

The thought of wanting what you can’t have is what adds fuel to our fire. Is it that you really want what you are seeking so desperately, simply because you can’t have it? Some of us operate this way. I can remember a time myself where I wanted to be with a certain someone to where it consumed my thoughts day and night. I stopped at nothing. Every trick and tactic you can think of; I did. And yet, it got me nowhere. It was only after I realized I was driving myself insane did I stop.  It took absolutely no time for him to come knocking on my door trying to get back in once he figured out I had moved on. I ended up going back simply because I had wanted the relationship to work for so long, or so I thought. To be honest, I was completely miserable! I was in a place where my heart wasn’t and I’m not the type of person to fake it till I make it, so I bounced…I guess it was just the thrill of the chase (rejection).

Live Your Life For you: Understanding Ethical Relativsm

I’m 30yrs old now and I’d have to say

that I pretty much know what’s best for me by now. I’m not implying that I know everything, but I’ll be the judge of me and you be the judge of you.

I have absolutely no right to judge your beliefs and you have no right to judge mine.

What’s the point!

All beliefs and ethics are “relative” anyway!

I drink this Henny because I feel it’s what I want to do! Don’t judge me! Even if you believe its wrong…… Which one of us is right anyway? What you can’t handle might be fine for me.

It can be argued that in every rational person (the definition of “rational” is touchy subject I won’t explain for now) there are certain properties common to all. The problem ( well, one problem) with relativism is how it, nihilistically privileges the experience of the individual above all else, making every ethical decision the right ethical decision: who would not like to have his or her beliefs guaranteed to be as correct as anybody else’s? But this is done at the cost of ignoring our shared qualities, turning away from the fact that despite different languages and cultures (and continents and skin colors) we all believe some of the same things. With that striking fundamental truth removed, the Prostitutes and the Saints stand side by side, equals in righteousness. What do you think?

Why We Buy (Subliminal Messages)

This A Blast From The Past
I was 18 when I wrote this how lame lol

Wow! I feel corny lls...but I wanted to share any ways
so tell me what you think and be honest :)

Did you hear those words underneath the loud lyrics

or was you just a victim of your inner desires

that held you hostage in this game

of supply and demand.

We’re you oblivious, or did you just lack self-control.

Either way you didn’t walk to the beat of

your own drum and now you stand still

in line wondering how did you get here in the first place.

See your conscious mind told you

that it wasn’t okay to buy that, but the

waves within sound system told you otherwise.

While you thought you were

listening to Janet Jackson over those speakers,

there were subliminal messages that attacked

your mind like a plague on your immune system.

With your brain occupied, your reasoning becomes impaired

leaving you capable of buying any

and everything the store has to offer.

When you realized you were home

your brain took back over and as you go

to open your bags: a Mariah Carey CD

Who the f ck bought that!

Quotes 2 Live By: Road 2 Success

God uses PAIN to Inspect us,Correct us,Direct us & Perfect us.

"Discontent is the first necessity of progress." — Thomas A. Edison

In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.

“High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.” -Jack Kinder

“Our strength often increases in proportion to the obstacles imposed upon it.”-Paul De Rapin

Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success. ~Dale Carnegie

The road to achieving great things always has adversity. If there's a road with no obstacles, it probably leads to nowhere.

The Versatile and Beautful Blogger Award

I’m Still Raw, But ThankYou!

I want to thank MsKnowItAll and Mizrepresent for awarding me with the Versatile and Beautiful Blogger Award. Mizpresent sorry 4 taking so long, but I just found out the proper blogger etiquette lol.

As a recipient of the versatile and beautiful blogger award, I must provide seven random facts about myself….

1. At times I can be one to be considered a know it all which is a blessing and a curse. Ppl come to me for answers all the time, but when I offer a friendly advise I’m often hit with “you think you know everything”… see it’s not that I think I know everything, it’s just I’m an independent research guy and I know what I know if you know what I mean lol.

2. I Coach little league football (Rosedale Cowboys 13 under) and I’m a diehard Redskins fan which can be a conflict of interest I suppose lol. I loves my football and wouldn’t change either.

3. I’m also a pretty good artist and have won numerous awards and contest over the years….something ppl closed to me would only know. I paint, sketch, calligraphy. I do it all.

4. I love movies I remember everything that puts a smile on my face and I can quote movies with the best of them. Sometimes I feel like I am a walking movie. “Once again I say what you scared to say, but u thinking the same God damn thing”….Bernie Mac Kings of Comedy Lls . 5. I’m very big on Fam. Loves my family and my Kids to death. Without them I’m nothing. They make my soul smile.

6. I work at the College of NotreDame in the billing dept I also run the Mail Services dept. It can be very demanding, but I multi-task it pretty good, just wish I could multi-task my personal life a little better.

7. Best for last even though he is First in my life. I’m a man of God I’m proud to say it. Aint no shame in my game. I’m always working on self and I know that I’m nothing without him.
